Nestled within Dubai’s iconic Emirates Towers, this office project serves as a sophisticated narrative of UAE heritage reimagined for the modern era. The structural expression utilizes a minimalist, contextual interior, where solid warm walnut joinery and light marble floors ground the space in a rich, earthy palette. This materiality, reminiscent of the region’s natural sands and traditional craftsmanship, bespoke furniture pieces designing pieces that fabricated locally, working closely with regional workshops to reinterpret the original intent. What emerged was not a compromise, but a refinement—furniture with a stronger sense of place, where material honesty and craftsmanship elevated the spatial experience.
Central to the design is a profound cultural resonance, subtly embedded through the use of Arabic calligraphy and visual motifs that pay homage to Emirati identity. By integrating biophilic “palm tree feature walls” this adaptive workplace strategy achieves a seamless balance between sustainable aesthetic and embodying a future-oriented vision that remains deeply rooted in local soul.
